Grand Place, with the modernist Christmas tree. The tree has caused some controversy because, well, it isn't that nice, but also because people hate new things. Also it's supposedly part of a Muslim plot to destroy all that is good and holy, despite the fact that it's unmistakably a GIANT Christmas tree in the middle of the most high profile square in town. Somehow politics mixes with Christmas in the most depressing ways. At any rate, it's part of a nice light show.
